Web Publishing & Editorial Policy

Last Updated: October 2025

Purpose

This policy sets out CJPI’s publishing standards, editorial principles and approach to accuracy, transparency and integrity across all web content. It applies to all material published on www.cjpi.com, including articles, resources, press releases, tools, and downloadable materials.

Editorial Principles

CJPI is committed to publishing reliable, relevant and experience-led content. Our aim is to inform and support business leaders and professionals through practical insight and evidence-based information.
All content must meet the following editorial standards:

  • Accuracy – content is based on verified data, credible sources and professional expertise.
  • Relevance – material must align with CJPI’s focus on executive search, leadership, strategy, and M&A advisory.
  • Transparency – publication dates, authorship and, where appropriate, sources are clearly stated.
  • Objectivity – while we value informed opinion, content avoids commercial bias or promotional influence.
  • Integrity – CJPI never publishes content that is misleading, plagiarised, discriminatory, or defamatory.

Content Creation and Review Process

Each item of content published by CJPI follows a defined process to ensure editorial quality and compliance.

  • Research – Content is developed using primary and secondary sources that are recognised as authoritative within their field.
  • Authorship – Articles and materials are written by professionals with demonstrable subject-matter experience.
  • Review – All content undergoes editorial review and, where applicable, fact-checking by an internal expert before publication.
  • Approval – The Managing Director or designated senior editor provides final approval before publication.
  • Updates – Content is periodically reviewed and updated when legislation, market conditions or professional practice change. Where factual corrections are required, CJPI updates the material promptly and includes a note of the amendment.

Fact-Checking and Sources

We maintain a high standard of evidence for all published information. Data points, statistics and research findings are referenced to their original or most authoritative source.

Our editors verify:

  • Dates and figures used in any data sets or financial metrics
  • Attributions for external quotes or materials
  • Relevance and currency of research references
  • If generative or AI-based tools are used in the research or drafting process human review is always applied before publication.

Conflicts of Interest and Independence

CJPI maintains a clear distinction between editorial and commercial activity.

We do not publish articles in exchange for payment, link placement or other benefit unless clearly labelled as “Partner Content” or similar.

Any advisory clients mentioned in our editorial material are included purely for illustrative purposes, not as promotion.

Editorial decisions are independent of client relationships or advertising arrangements.

Author Disclosure

Each article identifies its author or, where content is published collectively, cites the member of the team who reviewed it. Authors and contributors are selected based on expertise and professional credibility in the relevant field.

Profiles of key contributors are available on the site, outlining their background and role within CJPI or the wider industry.

Accessibility and Readability

CJPI strives to ensure that all content is accessible, inclusive and easy to read across all devices.

Content is written in clear, professional UK English.
Complex ideas are explained using straightforward language where possible.

Visual and technical elements (such as images, charts and tools) include alt text and descriptive labelling for accessibility.

The website follows responsive design standards to ensure readability on desktop and mobile devices.

Inclusion and Ethics

We respect diversity, inclusion and professional integrity in all published material. CJPI does not publish or endorse any content that discriminates on the basis of gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, age or disability.

All contributors and partners are expected to adhere to these ethical standards.

Content Updates, Archiving and Removal

CJPI routinely reviews existing content to ensure accuracy and relevance.

Outdated or superseded materials may be revised, archived or removed.

When significant updates are made, a note may be added to confirm the date and nature of the revision.

Archived content remains accessible where historically valuable but may include a notice stating it is no longer actively maintained.

User Feedback and Corrections

We welcome feedback and encourage readers to contact us if they identify an error or have concerns about any aspect of our content.

Corrections, amendments or retractions are considered promptly by our editorial team.
