Organisational Strategy Travel

Consulting Case Study

Consulting
The Project
This project was for a luxury travel agency who required strategy consulting,
Our Client
Our client was a leading luxury travel agency focusing on bespoke, tailor-made travel from the UK to the US, Indian Ocean and the Tropics.
The Challenge
We were tasked with providing strategic advice as part of the clients exit from the COVID-19 pandemic, which had hit the travel industry with significant force. Our work included conducting a review of their supply-chain arrangements, the contract under which they operated and to liaise with those parties on behalf of the client to determine the most commercially and operationally optimal solution.
Our Solution
Over a period of a number of weeks, we conducted a strategic review to outline the options available to the client, which came from extensive research by our team. These options were presented to the client with the varying context around relationship, commercial terms, together with supply chain access and availability. This also included technology and software solutions benchmarked for administrative automation and efficiency. This work resulted in the client agreeing with our recommendations to engage with certain potential parties, which we did on their behalf with the executives of the various parties identified in order to reach a final position of the two most optimal outcomes for consideration. Once we had agreed the way forward, we worked successfully on behalf of our client to align their commercial and contractual requirements.
