Executive Search Case Study
Executive Search
Our Client
Our client was the fastest growing S&P 500 constituent. As a Fortune 500 company, they have a complex, global organisation spanning over 100 countries.
The Role
We were tasked with two complementary Vice President searches to run significant business units across EMEA, working directly with their talent team, HR leaders and President - these roles were strategically signifiant for the business.
The Team
Our team was headed by our Search Director, a Senior Associate and overseen by our Managing Director.
The Solution
Given the scope and responsibility of the Vice President role, our initial market map concentrated on individuals with a proven record of leadership within the mission-critical space our client operates in. We placed particular emphasis on those who had succeeded at a similar or identical level in environments comparable to our client, with responsibility portfolios of similar or greater scale. Our search encompassed candidates with a breadth of experience and we primarily considered leaders from major global brands, including those who have proven to be a good ‘stable’ for those feeding into our clients business more widely across the group.
The Result
We identified over 100 candidates, contacted through direct headhunting, we held formal interviews with 30 candidates. Following initial assessments, we long listed 18 candidates for panel interview and assessment, and shortlisted 5 for final client interviews.
