About Chris
Chris Percival is the Founder and Managing Director of CJPI and a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership. Under his leadership, CJPI has built a strong reputation for delivering outcome-focused solutions to a diverse client base, ranging from ambitious entrepreneurs and mid-market firms to major corporates, investors, and public sector organisations.
Chris launched his early career while studying Paramedic Emergency Care at Oxford Brookes University, where he founded an independent healthcare start-up. Over the next decade, he scaled the business both organically and through acquisition into the largest healthcare organisation of its kind in the UK, growing a workforce of several hundred with sites across the country. The company became part of a major UK private equity-backed healthcare group, where Chris continued to serve as CEO until its eventual trade sale.
Chris set out to build CJPI to bring a modern, practical approach grounded in real-world experience as a premier advisory firm focused on value creation, leadership advisory, and mergers & acquisitions. He has led numerous buy- and sell-side projects, advised investors and executives, and overseen the search and selection process for high-profile, critical leadership roles across global corporations, equity-backed ventures, and public appointments.
Elected a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership in 2022, Chris has studied Mergers & Acquisitions at Imperial College Business School in London and holds a Distinction from Oxford Brookes University. He is also professionally qualified in change and project management, executive coaching, and psychometric testing. His entrepreneurial and leadership achievements have been recognised with several accolades, including the Lloyds Bank Enterprise Awards and Insider’s ‘42 under 42’.
