The Challenge
A healthcare service was broadening its clinical offering, which triggered the need for Care Quality Commission (CQC) registration. While the organisation had an experienced team delivering high-quality care, it did not have the regulatory infrastructure or documentation required to meet the CQC’s standards. This created a risk of delays to service expansion, gaps in compliance, and potential reputational impact if registration was not secured smoothly.
Our Solution
We partnered with the leadership team to design and implement a complete compliance framework aligned to CQC requirements. This included drafting and formalising policies across governance, safeguarding, patient safety, workforce, and quality management, as well as creating the necessary documentation for registration. We worked directly with service leaders to ensure the policies were practical, embedded into daily operations, and supported by training and monitoring processes.
The Result
The organisation gained a stronger governance framework, consistent operating standards, and enhanced readiness for future inspections, providing assurance to both patients and stakeholders.
